In 1990, Clarke L. Melville started commercial
litigation and employment law practice with a national law firm, Gowling,
Strathy & Henderson. In 1991, he moved his practice to Haney, Haney &
Kendall, of which he became a partner in 1995. Haney & Partners had as its focus advice to the senior
administration of local educational institutions as well as a significant
number of individuals, corporations, a large estates and trust practice,
administrative advocacy and labour and employment law. In July of 2000, Mr.
Melville moved his growing practice in order to enable him to concentrate on
the areas of law he was becoming experienced in and known for - employment
law, commercial and estate litigation.
Jennifer M. Krotz joined Mr. Melville as an
associate in October of 2008. She is a graduate of
the University of Western Ontario, where she received an Honours Bachelor of
Arts degree in Media, Information & Technoculture and English in 2003. Ms
Krotz attended law school at the University of Toronto, and graduated with a
J.D. in 2006. She completed her articles at Lerners in Toronto and was called
to the Ontario Bar in 2007. Ms Krotz is pursuing her career interest in
commercial and estate litigation. Shannon K. Cole
joined Mr. Melville as an associate in January of 2009. She is a graduate of
York University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in
1994. Ms Cole attended law school at Osgoode Hall, and graduated with a
L.L.B. in 1997. She completed her articles at ATI Technologies Inc. in
Markham and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2001. Ms Cole is pursuing her
career interest in employment, commercial and estate litigation.
